About Me

Hello again! I'm Saba 👩🏽💻
I am a Mixed-Methods UX Researcher who aspires to craft products and services that enhance the user experience. I strive to utilize research methods to discern user needs, contributing to the creation of user-centric design solutions.
I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Psychology, Sociology and New Media from the University of Georgia 🐾.
Ever since I was young, I have been known to ask lateral thinking questions in hopes of understanding content and material from different perspectives. Driven by my passion to help others, I've always been curious to understand why people behave the way they do?🔎
I worked in four different labs across UGA and UPenn to understand human behavior but the intersectionality of technology and human interaction was what caught my eye the most.
Upon this discover, I uncovered the realm of User Experience Design, and more specifically UX research. To further my abilities to investigate human behaviors and interactions with the intentions of designing user-centric products and services, I went back to school in the fall of my graduating year to pursue my Masters in Human-Computer Interaction.
During my first year, I studied the principles of the design foundations and research methods used to investigate human behavior with the intention of designing with the user in mind. I collaborated in the designing, execution and analysis of research for projects and learned to get comfortable with uncertainty.
As I develop the mindset of a UX Researcher across my multiple projects in my first year, I wanted to better understand how such work looks through the lenses and full-support of real-life products and services.
I had the opportunity to spend at summer in NYC interning for Google Labs Generative Media UX team working to better understand how users of their current AI tools interact with the products. This experience helped me understand UX research at an industry level and develop the confidence to present my insights to my cross-functional teams
